is designed specifically for the Nikon Df DSLR camera and accepts one or two Nikon EN-EL14 or EN-EL14a batteries. With the grip and two batteries your shooting time is effectively doubled.
The design of the grip offers a comfortable and secure way in which to hold your camera when shooting in portrait orientation. An alternate shutter-release button facilitates shooting when held vertically, and triggers the camera via the included shutter-release cable. It is designed with an anti-slip rubber grip and firm curvature to further improve handling. A tripod socket is located on the underside of the grip, and a holder for the camera's battery door prevents its loss when the grip is on the camera. The BG-N14 is also compatible with the Nikon EP-5A AC power supply, for extended in-studio use.
