This is a high quality lithograph reproduction of the classic concert poster for The Beatles historic show at the London Palladium for the 1963 Royal Command Performance. Just releasing their first album in March of 1963, by November the band were appearing for this Royal Command Performance. At the request of the Royal Family, The Beatles headlined the annual event, held in the presence of the Queen and Queen Mother. A glittering affair, the Beatles charmed The Royalty with one of the most famous quotes of our generation, said to the Lords and Ladies at the concert: "People in the cheaper seats clap your hands, the rest of you just rattle your jewelry." I'm sure jewelry rattled and rocked. The Beatles went on to become the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed band in the history of popular music.
