The Radian 3.0mm eyepiece, for many, is the ideal compromise.  It has 20mm of eye relief and an apparent field of view of 60°, while not being too heavy or wide to prohibit use in the Tele Vue Bino Vue Stereo Binocular Viewer.  Wide, comfy and relatively light!

This is one Planetary wide angle eyepiece with 2.5mm focal length and standard 1.25" (31.75mm) fitting diameter, ideal for use on telescopes/spotting scopes for astronomical observations. Primarily made for planetary observation, these 1.25" fully multicoated eyepieces give maximum detail and definition across the entire 58 degree field of view. A great value, these eyepieces are exceptional at nearly eliminating lateral color aberration and light scatter often associated with more expensive eyepieces that are better suited for deep space objects.
