At four score and five it's Cash or Trash time for a lifetime collection of premium treasures.
Here we have:
An ATIK astrophotography digital camera Model 314E. I am not familiar with this item, so I will describe it and show photos of it. The next model from this one is selling for some ,395. Appearance is excellent and new looking. No dings, scratches or bonks. Electronics inside look clean and I see no shorted spots. Cover over sensor is non-reflecting coated, the same as the glass overall cover. The mounting tube has a tight-fitting plastic cap and is ~31.7mm o.d. and ~27.9mm i.d. Electric contacts are not bent, clean, no corrosion or sparking residue. Cooling motor fan turns freely (carefully with bamboo skewer) quivering and stopping as the motor magnets take effect at a number of positions. Listing includes the camera assembly in its original box and foam padding and a silicone rubber O-Ring (~57mm o.d. and cylindrical ring is ~3mm o.d.). No literature or accessories are included. Having expounded on my observations, this item is being sold as is, for parts or repair, and buyers are responsible for applicability to their requirements. Check out Atik's site.
