Ringo Starr & Charlie Watts "Drum Legends"
20"x 24" METAL PRINT #9/600 w/COA
Photographed November 20, 2006 in Beverly Hills CA.
I’ve been asked many times, “What’s your favorite photograph?” This one is a definite contender. Charlie was in town with the Rolling Stones, so I made a call to Ringo and Jim Keltner to arrange a get-together. The four of us met the next day at Ringo’s house where we hung out, talked and played drums. That’s when I captured this moment with these two drum legends. We then went and sipped tea poolside.

This image has never before been published and comes from the original negative.
Professionally printed, fine art photo of the Beatles sitting on the steps of 24 Chapel St. in
Belgravia, London. This was the home of Brian Epstein who, on May 15, 1967, held a press
event at his flat to promote the release of Sgt. Pepper's.
Only a handful of journalists and
photographers were invited to the event. Two of the photographers were Tony Gale (who took
this photo) and Linda Eastman (who met Paul and soon began to date him, eventually marrying
him).
This is printed on 17" x 22" fine art, premium luster paper (I've taken a closeup pic of the texture
of the paper) and is
suitable for framing
. The image itself is 15" x 15" and comes from the
original 120mm negative. The print is also embossed on the bottom right by "New York Photo
Exchange."
