    Description

    The Orion illuminated eyepiece is new in box with a seperate 1.25" Highpoint #8 UHC filter that screws onto end of eyepiece for use when in light polluted skies. The illuminate reticle in center of eyepiece assists in exact spot on star alignments when using GOTO type scopes and it's medium power is excellent for viewing planets and Nebula with much better detail. The illuminated reticle controller which comes separate in a box with its own batteries can be used with or without the eyepiece. Screw it into the eyepiece only if you need to pinpoint certain stars, planets etc...
