Description
This Camera has been tested in our store and is in good working order.
It is about 60 years old since it was made, but the view through the viewfinder is good.
The shutter curtain is in clean condition.
What makes the
IIIf
one of the many Barnacle Leica's I've recommended is its perfection.
Not only is it mechanically perfect, but it is also made in the 1950's and the machining accuracy is excellent.
The model I'm exhibiting this time is a late model of the
Barnack IIIf
and the guide number of the flashbulb is black, which is called a
Black Dial
(BD).

Optical system:
It is about 60 years old since it was made, but the view through the viewfinder is good.
The viewfinder (angle of view window) is also free of mold and dirt and provides a pleasantly clear view.
The rangefinder (distance window) is also free of mildew and has no difficulty in focusing.

Cosmetically:
There is some dirt on the bottom lid, but it is perfectly functional.
The spool is clean.
The shutter curtain remains in very clean condition.

Functionally:
The shutter is fully functional and there is no stickiness to the slow shutter.
